**MATCHED** 4 embryos looking for loving family
Hi there,
We are a couple who has been through infertility and now have two beautiful children. We have 4 extra embryos and we knew that we wanted to donate them to someone else who wants a child, but can't have one on their own. We know the heartache of wanting a child and having to struggle and want to reach out to someone else going through similar circumstances. Almost a year ago, we told our clinic that we would like to donate our embryos and they connected us with the NEDC. We were a little naive about the world of embryo donation at the time and just went with our clinic's suggestion. After transferring our embyros to their facility and starting the process of being matched with recipients we discovered that the NEDC does not allow same-sex couples or single parents adopt the embryos they store. We do NOT support the NEDC's stance on this and are now looking for alternative avenues to donate our embryos. We are looking for a recipient who shares our view that a great parent is someone that has unconditional love for their child. We would like a recipient who approves of same-sex marriage and does not/will not does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, etc.
